Fuel dispenser channel controller

MAXSAN

Powered by embedded SARHAS software: two dispenser channels, preset by amount or volume, process monitoring and receipt printing.

Purpose

MAXSAN controller for filling station operators.

SARHAS embedded software creates preset and price commands, processes dispenser responses and displays each channel state. All metering is performed by the dispenser itself.

Features

Everything a dispenser operator needs

  • Two logical channels GasKitLink channels use separate lines; AZT 2.0 channels operate as a consecutive N/N+1 address pair on a shared RS-485 bus; Shelf channels use independent addresses on a shared RS-485 bus.
  • Preset by amount or litres Enter the price and preset from the 4×4 hardware keypad, then start and monitor delivery.
  • Operator display The 256×64 OLED shows the selected dispenser, amount, volume, price and transaction state.
  • Receipts and service USB ESC/POS printer for receipts; flash drive for updates, logs and diagnostics.
Benefits
2 channels

Two operator channels

One controller stores settings for two channels. The physical topology depends on the selected dispenser protocol.

3 protocols

Dispenser compatibility

GasKitLink for Censtar, AZT 2.0 for ECOTEC/Topaz-compatible equipment and Shelf for Shelf and TEXNOUZ dispensers.

USB Host

Updates and service

The bootloader checks the SARHAS.UPD package format, version and CRC; the application supports service logs and a receipt printer.

Supported protocols

Connectivity for Censtar, ECOTEC, Topaz, Shelf and TEXNOUZ

Each dispenser type uses verified line parameters and its own codec for commands, states and final data.

01 GasKitLink / Censtar

RS-422, 9600 bit/s, 8N1. Controls dispenser presets, prices and states.

02 AZT 2.0 / Topaz / ECOTEC

RS-485 half-duplex, 4800 bit/s, 7E2. Two channels share one bus and use a consecutive N/N+1 address pair.

03 Shelf / TEXNOUZ

RS-485 half-duplex, 19200 bit/s, 8N1. One address per nozzle; both channels use independent addresses on a shared bus. For TEXNOUZ, compatibility of a specific model depends on its automation interface and command map.

04 USB Mass Storage

Firmware updates with a SARHAS.UPD package, plus service logs and diagnostic reports.

05 USB ESC/POS

Receipt printing is implemented for the 58 mm Xprinter XP-58IIL ESC/POS printer; one USB device at a time.

Compatible equipment

Fuel dispensers

Censtar two-hose fuel dispenser
GasKitLink

Censtar

One controller operates one dispenser with two hoses or two separate dispensers with one hose each.

ECOTEC two-hose fuel dispenser
AZT 2.0

ECOTEC

In AZT 2.0 mode, the controller operates one dispenser with two hoses.

Shelf / TEXNOUZ fuel dispenser
Shelf

Shelf + TEXNOUZ

The Shelf protocol is used with Shelf and TEXNOUZ fuel dispensers; model compatibility depends on the automation interface.

MAXSAN controller display and keypad

Maintenance and updates

Service through one USB Host port

SARHAS.UPD

The bootloader validates the package on a FAT/FAT32 flash drive and updates the separate application image.

Service logs

The LOG.ON file enables recording of operating events, communication errors and timeouts.

Diagnostics

A diagnostic report is saved to the USB flash drive as DIAG_<bootcount>.TXT.

Receipt printer

RECEIPT.CFG is stored in EEPROM; final receipt printing works without detailed paper or cover status monitoring.

USB hubs are not supported: connect either a flash drive or a printer at one time.
